Happy Sunday, my loves. I hope you are enjoying the glorious sunshine!

I don’t think I have ever written a favourites post before so here I am with some easy Sunday reading. I have found myself loving quite a few bits over the last couple of weeks, both new and old so, I’m going to chat my way through and hopefully you discover some different products to test out.

BOBBI BROWN TOUCH UP BRUSH = A couple of weeks back, I was lucky enough to be invited down to Brighton for the Bobbi Brown #CantLiveWithout masterclass which was such a fun afternoon but that is where I was introduced to the Full Coverage Touch Up Brush. I must say that I am more of a sponge kind of girl and I would never think to apply my foundation or concealer with a brush but I think I’m going to end up eating my words. I have found this brush is particularly good with the Bobbi Brown Corrector as it covers under eye circles, red patches and small blemishes with good coverage. It is perfect for any skin type as it applies evenly and doesn’t leave you feeling cakey! So if you’re on the hunt for a touch up brush, definitely have a look at this one – you’ll love it.

BENEFIT PORE MATTE RESCUE GEL = I have used this for around 2 years now and I’m still absolutely loving it. My skin has always been oily and prone to redness so when searching for a primer I look for something cooling and mattifying and this little beauty does just that. With some primers I have tested out before, I noticed some of the thicker creams would cling to my dry patches and just make my foundation look patchy but as this is a gel consistency it glides on the skin and leaves you feeling hydrated and soothed. Oh and it also smells AMAZING. Definitely test this one out if you have oily skin like me.

BOBBI BROWN POT ROUGE = Back on it with the Bobbi Brown products but this is a definite must have. As a lazy girl who likes to have her makeup done quickly, I love a product that multi-tasks so being able to use Pot Rouge on my cheeks and lips is a dream. Popping in on as a blush once your foundation is set, gives a natural rosy tint, which lasts all day. Using it as a lip shade gives a subtle finish but doesn’t dry out your skin. When wearing some lipsticks, my lips instantly chap and feel sore but Pot Rouge hydrates and I can wear it all day without having the urge to take it off. If you haven’t got this miracle in your makeup bag then treat yourself as its so worth it.

MORPHE 35k PALLETTE = I mean, who doesn’t love a Morphe palette? They’re so affordable compared to other brands but you can still create amazingly pigmented looks. I am such an ammeter when it comes to eye shadow; I usually just pop on a light base and then a bit of glitter as I never seem to be able to pull off a well-executed eye but having a palette where the powders are easy to blend makes life so much easier. The 35K is a winner for me as there is a good colour range and you get a choice of both mattes and glitters to create various day and night time looks. If you’re looking for a palette but you don’t want to spend a bomb then definitely look into Morphe as there are so many to choose from and there is bound to be one just for you!

LOREAL BROW ARTIST PLUMPER = At 15, I made the stupid mistake of overplucking my eyebrows; most of us have been there, right? Thankfully I am happy with how my brows are looking now but I’m still always on the hunt for products that’ll give me a helping hand. I have used Benefit’s Gimme Brow before and I did like it but I wanted to find a cheaper alternative and I believe I have succeeded! I pop on the brow plumper after I have drawn in my brows for more volume but if you want to apply it without any other product then it looks good either way. I only have one little niggle and that is if you apply too much, it can go a bit crispy which feels horrid but as people always say, a little goes a long way.

BENEFIT BAD GIRL LASH MASCARA = I have been a fan of Benefit mascaras for a while now so when my babe Charlotte gave me this for my birthday, I was a very happy girly. When Bad Girl came out, I heard mixed reviews with many saying it was too ‘clumpy’ or it didn’t volumise. I agree with this to an extent but similar to the brow gel, less is most definitely more. If you apply this sparingly then I feel you will see the volumising effects. This is not good mascara if you want to use it for more than a couple of coats but having said that, I love how dark it makes your lashes look and I do like it for a more natural look.

And now we have come to the end of my first favourites post. I am planning to make this a regular occurrence so keep your eyes peeled for that. I hope you have a lovely rest of this sunny Sunday. Let me know what you’ve been loving this month!
