As you probably saw on my Instagram, I packed my bags and made my way over to the Isle of Man to visit my best friend Lucas and what a jam packed four days we had! I made sure I had my camera, as I wasn't going to miss the opportunity to take thousands of photos as a way to treasure memories.

I met Lucas when we were both at university in Falmouth, he had told me a lot about the island so I was incredibly excited to visit his home. I have been on many trips around the UK and I have explored some beautiful parts of the country but there was something truly magical about the Isle of Man. Since university I have been OBSESSED with the idea of living by the sea so being accessible to several beaches is the ultimate dream.

Even though I was only visiting for a short time, Lucas and I managed to drive the entire length and breadth of the Isle of Man. Everywhere we went I felt a strong sense of community, which made me feel right at home! Similar to Cornwall, there were many seaside towns but there were also vast mountainous areas, like the Lake District - the perfect combination!

From outstanding coastline walks and almighty forest treks to mud covered cars and the best ice cream I have ever had, there are many reasons why I am already looking forward to my next trip over to the Isle of Man. Here are some photos to show you why.

A HUGE thank you to Lucas, his wonderful family and friends for such a fabulous four days. You wont be able to get rid of me now!

Have you ever visited the Isle of Man? Hope you enjoyed. Now, LETS GET FESTIVE!

MY ISLE OF MAN PHOTO DIARY

On a cold autumnal evening, you can find me snuggled up on the sofa with a hot chocolate, browsing the internet for new homeware pieces (or I'm on ASOS). I don’t know whether it’s just me or you do this too but I sit for hours designing what my future house is going to look like. I have a crazy amount of interior inspiration saved on Pinterest and it’s starting to get out of hand but I just can’t help myself. So with this post, I hope to inspire some of you who are either moving house, re-designing your university bedroom or whether you’re just like me whose obsessed with interior design.

There are so many amazing stores out there and I have picked some of my favourite bits out for you.

I have been seeing these boards EVERY WHERE and I must admit, I am obsessed with the way they look. They make your typical noticeboard look cool and unique which makes this a perfect accessory to have in your room or office. Even though it looks nice, I also feel having something like this would be incredibly motivating as you would want to write a to-do lists and get them done!

I am instantly drawn to anything that has a plant on it so this leaf print is just a dream! What I love about this is how minimalistic it is yet it would transform a room with a pop of colour. This would look gorgeous either on its own or surrounded by smaller prints. This is just a perfect piece to make a room look fresh and classy.

Lets be honest, how bloomin’ cosy and warm does this throw look? Perfect for a cold winters evening, snuggled up on the sofa with your blanket and a hot chocolate. I also LOVE that you can personalize it with initials, a really lovely gift idea!

This duvet cover is perfect for anyone’s bedroom but what makes it even better is its double sided so if you fancy a change, just turn it over and there you go! If you love the minimal geometric pattern but you’re not a fan of grey, you can also buy it in pink, what’s not to like?

Everybody loves a good scented candle but what stood out for me was the gorgeous rose gold holder – a bloggers dream. An amazing smelling candle and an item that will look fabulous in a flatlay, win win!

Have you been loving any homeware items? If so, leave me a link in the comments below, I would LOVE to have a look.
